Overview

Bring your family or friends for a day on the world famous Salmon River of Idaho.  Get your feet (and likely your whole body) wet on the longest un-damned river in the United States as you experience a piece of this whitewater gem of Idaho.  Our full day trip offers opportunities to run the biggest whitewater while also relaxing in the many scenic pools, these are opportunities for conversations with your kids in the flats and then sharing screams of joy in the rapids.

What to Bring

For the trip you will want:

  • Water appropriate clothing - Swim suit or light nylon clothing. Cotton is not appropriate.
  • Water shoes/sandals.  Ideally something with a heal strap that keeps them on your feet while swimming.
  • Sun Screen - We have for sale in our shop
  • Sunglasses
  • Croakies/chums for keeping sunglasses on - We have for sale in our shop
  • Hat - Helmets are optional on our trips if in a raft.  In a kayak helmets are required.  If not wearing a helmet we encourage you to wear a hat.  We have hats for sale in our shop.
  • Water Bottle - We have for sale in our shop.


Itinerary

  • 8:30 am MOUNTAIN STANDARD TIME.  Please arrive on time for an immediate departure.  We do have changing rooms if you would like to change before your trip.
  • 9:15 - Noonish - floating the river, enjoying whitewater, scenery, and floating.
  • Noonish-1ish - Riverside lunch.
  • 1ish-3:30 - Running the "whitewater corridor" of the Riggins day section.  At typical summer flows this is the section of back to back rapids.
  • 3:30-4:00pm - Arrive back at our shop in Riggins Idaho.  We have showers and changing rooms if you would like to use them upon our return.
