Overview
The Rogue River Trail is consistently viewed as one of America’s favorite trails. Built into the cliffs of the river by early minors in the canyon, the protected Wild and Scenic river corridor is filled with unobstructed vistas, side stream waterfalls, and plenty of wildlife. On your run expect to see eagles, dear, and possibly even a bear eating berries across the river. While you run the rafts will stop and have fluids and snacks available to a few points throughout each day to keep you going down the trail.
If you like to run, you will love to run in the Rogue River canyon. Run in the quiet of the canyon, the sound of the river flowing below you and the wind whistling past your ear is only muffled by the sound of your breathing and your feet on the ground. Create a goal for yourself and sign up to run the Rogue River Trail, then get out and start training!

Day 3: 15.9 trail miles
*Note - Day 2 and Day 3 miles sometimes flux if we end up using a different lodge on night 2.
Conclusion: We are typically back to our shop in Merlin around 4pm but due to closed roads, varying running speeds and numerous other factors we are occasionally not back until as late as 6pm.
