Overview

Hells Canyon - The deepest river gorge in North America - and at the bottom of it rolls the biggest whitewater in Idaho & Oregon. During your one-day rafting adventure it'll be hard to stop looking up at the canyon rims until you hear the roar of the whitewater ahead! Our guides will help you experience one of the best parts of the west, and serve up a great lunch too!

Hells Canyon boasts thousands of years of rich history from raging prehistoric floods to the more recent inhabitation of native Americans and European settlers. You'll visit historic cabins, see pictographs up close, and more wildlife than you ever have before.

Top off the day in an extremely unique way - only offered by Orange Torpedo Trips. A couple hours after lunch the canyon will open up and the whitewater will mellow out - your guides will roll up the rafts and we will be met by one of our Jet Boat partners for a thrilling high-adventure jet boat ride back up to Hells Canyon Dam.

Early season trips (June and early July) will have more opportunities for riverside stops due to more consistent and higher river flows allowing us to make more miles on the river in a shorter time. Later season trips we generally do less miles on the river to accomodate a couple stops. Either way, both trips will experience the stretch of river with the biggest whitewater in the west!
